Our Purpose
The Vineyard exists to invite large numbers of people into a committed, life changing relationship with Jesus Christ and each other (discipleship/community). We are dedicated to serving our way into the hearts of people by receiving God¹s powerful love and giving it away.

Our Mission
WE EXTEND the generous atmosphere of God¹s Kingdom of love, forgiveness, and acceptance in practical ways to all kinds of people. WE CELEBRATE God¹s presence in fun, culturally current, and ancient biblical worship models. WE GROW TOGETHER as a community of love as Jesus heals us, changes us, and teaches us to follow him. WE EMPOWER ONE ANOTHER toward service to God as He empowers us by His Spirit of love.

Our Values
We serve a generous and loving God who deserves our gratitude; therefore, worship is of primary importance. Instead of a choir, we value the participation of the entire church, returning God’s love through song. At the Vineyard we prefer to worship God in contemporary style songs and music. Each time we gather, we sing songs of quiet and intimate expression as well as joyful celebration.

There is a frightening sense of powerlessness in our society. We feel powerless in the face of the world’s overwhelming problems, powerless over our own behavior, and powerless to change. But God’s desire is to empower us to personal change and dynamic service by His Spirit. Therefore, we are dedicated to helping each other live in the Spirit’s fullness and serve by the Spirit’s power.

The church’s number one job is to share the good news of God’s love, acceptance, and forgiveness with as many people as we can. One of the ways we do this is to demonstrate God’s love in small, practical ways with no strings attached. We serve those around us with a ‘touch of kindness’ by offering free car washes, soft drinks, and other services. In this way we live out the good news before them, until they ask ‘why?’ Check out our Servant Evangelism page for more detailed information.

Life can be tough. We all need encouragement to get by, especially when we are trying to live like Jesus. He started the church for his followers to encourage each other. To encourage literally means “to breathe courage into another.” Small Groups are a great place to build encouraging friendships that will see us through life’s storms. See the Community Groups page for a complete list of the groups that meet throughout this area
