Historically Christians have willingly provided medical assistance to suffering humanity as a means of expressing the love, compassion and mercy of God. Shouldn’t it also stand to reason that the church should work toward improving the environmental conditions that cause disease and illness in the first place? There is no question that a declining global environment is causing humanity to suffer. At the Tending the Garden Conference we will explore and discuss how Christians everywhere might rediscover the value of caring for creation, uniting in our efforts to make a difference in the world we are called to.

Workshops may include:
- Backyard Environmentalism
- Composting and Beginner Beekeeping
- Planning "Green" Weddings and Events
- Envirowatts
- The Environment and our Health
- Reducing Energy Use in the Home

At the Creation Care conference you'll learn more about the biblical mandate to care for God's creation and be equipped with tools to lead in your home, your church and the community in obeying that mandate. We will separate caring for creation from a political agenda or association as we explore and discuss a biblical perspective on how Christians everywhere might rediscover the value of caring for creation, uniting in our efforts to make a difference in the world for His glory.
