Next Steps in Discipleship
Welcome to Christ’s Family! We want to walk with you as you grow in your faith. That’s why we offer opportunities for learning and support outside of the weekend services. You can pick up a New Believers Packet in the bookstore. As a Next Step, you may want to consider joining us for one or more of the following, watch the program for specific dates and times:
Baptism – Baptism is a sign of your commitment to following Jesus. If you are ready to take this important step watch the program for details or please call the office.
Get Connected – It is crucial to become a part of a smaller family within the larger family where everybody knows your name. This happens in community groups. If you’re looking for a place to get connected but don’t know where to start visit our community group board in the foyer or our website (under community groups) to find all the information you need to get started.
Alpha New Believers Class – If you are someone who still has questions about what it means to follow Jesus, or if you are a New Believer, this class is for you; we will address foundational questions while providing an opportunity to explore the meaning of life. Please watch the program for the next class.
Newcomer’s Pizza – If you’ve been coming here for less than 6 months and would like to meet the Senior Staff and get to know more people – this class is for you! We will meet to share food and stories and it’s all free. Childcare is provided. This class is offered every other month, please sign up in the program.
Vineyard 101 – Membership is an integral Next Step. This class will tell you all about what membership here means and provide you an opportunity to become a member. Lunch and childcare are provided. It is offered every other month, please sign up in the program.
Where Do I Fit? – One of the most exciting steps you can take as a new believer in Christ is discovering the unique and special gifts given to you for service in God’s ministry. Periodically, we will offer a seminar that will help you discover those gifts in our “Where Do I Fit Ministry”. Please watch the program for the next class.
Leadership Orientation – This is a mandatory training class for all people in leadership or anyone who desires to be involved in leadership. We offer this four times a year,
