Kim Hale began her relationship with God at the young age of 4. Surrounded with an artistically gifted family, she carries with her a rich heritage that has servered her into her adult life and supported her calling in music and performance.

Kim began playing piano at age three and has been singing since entering this world. It was evident that this would be her life-long passion and gifting.

Kim attended Central Bible College as a triple major in voice, piano and conducting with a minor in theater. She has since directed music and worship in several churches in the Assemblies Of God and Open Bible denominations as well as currently here at the Florence Vineyard.

In 2002, Kim founded and directed “City Cry”, an inner city youth fine arts ministry in Trotwood, Ohio. She hopes to eventually spawn the Florence, Kentucky version of “City Cry” to help develop young musicians, vocalists and actors.

Kim and her husband Greg live in Florence with their three children Megan, Rand and Ciara. They also own and operate Art & Soul Studios, a recording and production facility. Kim has recorded 2 solo CD projects and is currently working on a third.

If you ask Kim where her happy place is, there are four of them:
Home, Church, the Studio and the Stage.

Two of her life-long ambitions include composing a full-length feature film score and to one day sing with Stevie Wonder.

More importantly, Kim desires that all artists really get the fact that we are the recipients of a great gift. This gift is on loan from our Father God and that we are to use all of these gifts for His glory and His glory alone.
